A lot of people comment on my apartment furnishings and are always surprised to hear I have gotten most of them from sellers on Craigslist. Thou Shall Craigslist has helped me with this tremendously: Every morning, they post the coolest things that are for sale on the Austin Craigslist. This blog is how I found my area rug, coffee table, and book shelves. I make sure to check this blog every day to see if someone may be selling something I want.

The Grapes - "I Wish That It Would Snow In Austin" (2012)
I also wish that it would snow in Austin. They say it may happen tomorrow, but I doubt it will accumulate much if it all. I’ve actually experienced snow in Austin several times. It’s not like it never happens (as this song claims); it is just really rare when it does.
It snowed the day after I was born and then again a few days later:
And here I am at work in the snow almost four years ago [wow, look how much weight I’ve lost since then]:
There have been other times, too, but I cannot find pictures of them at this moment.
So, yeah, it snows in Austin on occasion. I hope it does again this winter. Also, this song is cute, so listen to it.

BY THE WAY, TITAYA’S IS CLOSED FOR A FEW MONTHS WHILE THEY REMODEL.
Yep. I hope these next few months go by fast because I’m dying without my Titaya’s fix.
Free St. Vincent and David Byrne ticket.
I’ll throw this out there one more time. Does anyone in Austin want a free ticket to see St. Vincent and David Byrne tonight? I have a spare.
Are any of my followers (besides swiftthefox himself) in Austin? If so, do you want to go to this great show for free?
(I’m already going and have my tickets, otherwise I would be all over this like shitty cheap drippy nail polish on my expensive rug.)
